Welcome to the Perth 2011 Commonwealth Resounds homepage!

The Commonwealth Resounds is an organisation seeking to identify and promote outstanding musical initiatives in Commonwealth countries, develop partnerships between artists from different cultural origins and support training programmes for young musicians. These objectives will be realised through performances, seminars, projects, masterclasses, discussions and outreach work

In October 2011 Chethams school of music in Manchester and The Purcell School of music in Bushey are running a joint trip to Perth, Australia as part of the Commonwealth Peoples Forum which takes place at the same time as the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM). This website is set up so that you can find out more about this trip.
